I just found out that Dick passed away. How very sad. I saw Dick when I visited IU last in October, 2009. We had a great dinner together and stroll around campus. I had not seen Dick since Zoology at UBC days back in the early 90's but as soon as he walked up to meet me and said "Hi Alice" I knew right away it was the same old Dick. Condolences to Dick's family. I will never forget him.
